1. Get a referral

2. Check their license on the State's website or licensing authority

3. Make sure they have an office or some sort of verified physical location

4. Ask the investigator about his/her experience and education

5. Do not be shy to ask for proof of their business insurance

6. Talk about the confidentiality of your case and personal information

7. Do you feel comfortable with this particular P.I?

8. A service contract is important to keep both parties honest

9. Be prepared for the result of the investigation to follow

Some vital experience include working in personal protection as a bodyguard to government dignitaries, travelling the world with the  principals he was hired to protect. He worked for twelve years as a police detective, and five years teaching and training police officers, security officers, and private detectives.


R.G. has pursued advance studies in the field of Criminal Justice, Private Investigations studies and practices, and in Paralegal studies.
